Bank of Scotland steal Bank of Scotland

“IF YOU DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT, WE MAY TAKE ANY FUNDS YOU HAVE AVAILABLE IN ANOTHER CURRENT OR SAVINGS ACCOUNT THAT YOU HOLD WITH US, EVEN IF IT IS A JOINT ACCOUNT.”

If you are having debt problems, make sure that your wages are paid into an account that is not linked to any debts that you may have. So for example, if you have a Barclaycard debt and your wages are paid into a Barclays account, the banks can steal from one to pay the other!

I do on occasion get calls from people who have had the above happened to them. In some cases as soon as the wages landed in the current account, the bank has taken the money out immediately to pay towards a credit card.

On one particular occasion a lady called me to say that this had happened to her. In her particular case the money in her current account was benefits. She was crying on the telephone telling me that this left her with no money to buy food for her children!

So as soon as you get into any trouble, or better still, you foresee yourself getting into trouble, get yourself a new account as soon as possible. MAKE SURE THAT IT IS NOT LINKED TO ANY DEBTS THAT YOU MAY HAVE.

  1. I’m sorry but there is a law against the banks taking benefits for debts? This once happened to me, so what this lady can do is to obtain a letter from the council or benefits agency and take it into the bank. Legally, they have to give her the money that they took. Banks are running out of time. People are wising up to their fraudulent practices. Anyone with a mortgage should request the original copy of the mortgage deed. If there is not a wet ink signature from both parties, the mortgagor and mortgagee (the supposed lender) then the mortgage is null and void. Law of Property (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1989 Section 2 makes it plain. Our signature creates the line of credit. Banks then make us believe that they are lending this credit. Complete misrepresentation and well worthy of imprisonment, but the courts are corrupt too.

  2. This “Right of Appropriation” allows a customer to assign any funds entering their account to specific events and needs, not just benefits.

This is something all the banks should be aware of, but are loathe to publicise. Some banks however do not understand this process since it is not very often used.

    • Hello girlwithadirtymind

Many thanks for visiting my site and leaving some useful comments and links!

I think that even if a bank does understand the process, they will steal anyway, as in most cases they will get away with it!

Just tried the link you left and it does not work?
